Air Ops Cops (SSD) did an amazing job with the fly over at the memorial with Metro Fire and Sacramento Police!! I was able to capture some great pictures of all involved including STAR VIII as it flew back around. It truly was an incredible event to witness. Thank you to each and every one of you for protecting this county with the Love From Above!

I am a retired Master Police Officer with the Portsmouth (VA) Police Department. Most of my career was in Uniform Patrol, with 3 years in the Internal Affairs Unit.

I was a Patrol Officer for Paladin Private Security. I appreciate all the times STAR was above our sites, and assisted us on many occaisions. It was always a Blessing to hear the helicopter and seeing the light from above. My personal thanks to all the Sheriff Deputies' and STAR units' help through the years.

Meant a lot to me while I was on duty. Glad I am at a desk while this budget gets sorted out.

I truly enjoy seeing your choppers in the sky. Knowing that with the help of these special machines and the brave men and woman that operate them, Sac county is a better and safer place. I have been a television news cameraman for 17 years and have done many stories with local agencies that utilize helicopters. I have seen first hand lives being saved, criminals being caught, missing people being found, ETC. They are a vital link in community service.

I love the website and appreciate all that Air Ops does for Sacramento County & beyond. It's nice to see the respect being paid to STAR VI here on the website and with attendance at the Lake Natoma Memorial. Kevin was a great friend and loved being a part of the Air Ops team. I always look forward to seeing STAR helicopter in the air!! Can't resist to go outside and wave when I hear you coming, so please fly by Antelope/I-80 area whenever possible. Keep up the great work and thanks for all that you do to ensure our safety.

What a great tool the department has in the air ops and we as citizens are lucky to have you guys looking out for us from above.
